You don’t realize what you have until you move to New York. Take it from me the wide-eyed actress ready to make it big in the Big Apple. What you don’t realize when you make the big move is what you’re leaving behind and how great that really is.
It took one year and the epic hustle that is the New York way to make me come to the conclusion, that I am a Floridian! It’s where my passions and creativity have steamed from and it’s where I started to make a name for myself. Leaving this incredibly humid sun filled oasis made me understand the fact that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.
It’s necessary in life to make the most of what you have in your own backyard and Fort Lauderdale is an amazing backyard to live in despite the mosquitos. It’s filled with emerging businesses, creative minds, the arts, delicious food, and so much more. The endless opportunities that are right there in front of you, can be had if you just work hard enough for it. The hustle doesn’t only need to be in one city, it can be anywhere YOU make it happen.
