The Forum is New City Players’ gathering where people from our city witness and engage in civil discourse. The project’s aim is to create a space where essential issues pertinent to the human condition and/or our cultural moment can be discussed and debated with a spirit of charity.
Our Headliner Cliff Cash is a NC native whose comedic style often navigates the fallacies of the deeply southern, conservative and religious ties he was raised with. He tours nationally full time and is on a mission to see #everynationalpark from his #millionmilemercedes that he essentially lives in. He’s been featured on Comedy Central’s UpNext, Sirius XM radio, Laughs on Fox and Rooftop Comedy. His fun fact was that before comedy he had careers in sales, real estate investment and the recycling industry and burned his whole life to the ground to pursue this ridiculous dream.
RAW Storytelling is a free, monthly Fort Lauderdale live show where the community gathers to share, discover, and unite through the tradition of true storytelling. Join us for a night of real people sharing real stories. Completely unscripted and uncensored, listen to stories about magic and celebrate their 2 year anniversary!
Comedian Dean Napolitano is a throwback to the great comedians of yesteryear only with a modern twist that makes him one of the most prevalent comedians working today. A true storyteller with imaginative delivery that makes audiences feel as if they have been through each experience themselves. Born in Long Island New York, Dean Napolitano first cut his teeth on the comedy scene working for clubs throughout Florida. Napolitano has been seen on the small screen in a variety of shows on various networks.

Gallery Night features 3 amazing local artists, who not only come to share their latest pieces but also the process that it takes to create them and how they got started. It’s a community event created to help connect locals with artists and other creative minds here.
This show’s headliner, RC Smith, is known in the television and comedy industry as one of the best “tv warm-up” guys in the business. A great warm-up comic can jump-start an audience from nothing to something and has to do it right from the get-go. He has to have great energy as soon as he hits the stage and he has to be a 100% hitter. RC Smith has done warm-up for TV’S “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”, “The Colbert Report”, “Ricki Lake” and many more.
NCP: LAB is an open gathering for theatre artists who are looking to share their work and receive feedback. Bring a monologue, song, poem, or stand up set that you wrote and share it with the community.
