Circle of Life Legal Services is a law firm that focuses on helping individuals and families enhance their lives today and secure their futures for tomorrow. Attorney Marty Elberg helps guide clients through the often confusing maze of financial and legal decisions to create business structures and plans that ensure the well-being of the business owner. His legal experience includes creating the right business structure for the needs of the client. Whether you need an LLC, Corporation or Partnership, Marty can help you craft an operating agreement to properly structure your business for today and years to come. As ongoing “in-house” counsel, he can help with day to day legal issues and find the right attorney for specialized legal needs.
Marty Elberg graduated from California Western School of Law in 2006. After graduation, Marty moved back to his hometown of Eagle Grove, Iowa to be closer to his and his wife’s family where they could raise their boys with the same Midwestern values they learned. Soon after he was admitted to the Iowa bar in 2007, he opened his own practice to serve the small town. After several years of growing his business and transitioning their boys into responsible young men, Marty and his wife moved to Florida. He now resides in Fort Lauderdale with his wife, Susie. Their children live in Iowa and Virginia. One is in the Army National Guard and the other is in the US Navy.
Marty was admitted to the Florida bar in 2012. His experience with business law goes back to when he formed an LLC for one of his first clients in Iowa. Marty understands the importance of a proper business structure and the effect it can have on the owners. He prides himself on his ability to truly listen to his clients while translating their vision into operating agreements that meet their desires and expectations. He appreciates the unique composition of each business and knows firsthand that thoughtful, creative customized planning can maximize both financial security and harmony therein. Because many organizational structures incorporate tax planning, Marty will work with your advisor to determine what is best for you. If you do not have a tax advisor, Marty has a network of advisors to match your needs
Community involvement has always been a top priority for Marty. In April of 2015 he was appointed to the Board of Directors of Voices for Children of Broward County. This organization helps bring normalcy to neglected and abused children under the care of the state in Broward County. Marty has also been involved with Americas Planned Giving, a non-profit organization helping underprivileged children in Colombia which also shares proceeds with a local non-profit every month. Circle of Life Legal Services was selected as the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Award winner.
